“To eternalise” – to make famous forever, to immortalise.
I chose the name “eternalised” for my personal website, because I thought this would be the best place to make myself famous forever, to eternalise my name and my personality via the internet. Ofcourse it’s a bit ambitious, but I will already be satisfied if some people figure out about this place and enjoy browsing through my website. ;)

I purchased the domain name http://eternalised.net on the 1st of July 2010. Before, I used to have a website over at http://elvenmysteries.com, but I closed my personal website there, because I thought that with the start of the new decade – and me turning twenty – I was in need of something new. My previous site was hosted by Dreamhost.be, a terrible host I wouldn’t recommend to my arch nemesis. This site is the, hopefully improved, version of the weblog I’ve been keeping since 2005, with a new layout, fancy coding and fresh content. If you want to subscribe to this website – so you will always new whenever fresh, new content is posted – there’s an entire page with information about subscribing.

Eternalised.net runs on WordPress and a ton of plugins. The layout is version 3.0 Blogger Girl, and was built on the Genesis Framework. The design is copyright © 2010 Majanka Verstraete, although some other people deserve credit too. You may not copy, alter or use this layout of parts of it, nor may you redistribute any content presented on this website. The CSS should be valid, as should the XHTML. Eternalised has its very own accessibility statement, in an effort from my side to make the site more accessible for everyone all around the world wide web.

I encourage discussion and comments on this weblog, but I advise you to read The Comments and Privacy Policy first, to get a clue of what is and what isn’t allowed. There’s also a Disclosure Policy/Disclaimer, to get all legal stuff aside.

Some posts on this blog are private, or accessible for registered users only. There are a number of reasons why I choose to make certain posts restricted to the general public, the most common one that I simply don’t want to share the information in that post with the whole internet. Please accept this choice. Registration to Eternalised is free, easy and will give you access to private posts – and in the future to registered-user-only resources. So what are you waiting for? Register right now!

If you get lost, you may want to consult the sitemap, which is basically a clean list of all pages on this site. On the other hand, if you have a question, or simply feel like stalking me, feel free to contact me. I should be able to get back to you within a few days.
